Chau & Hennessy Professional Accountants Pty Ltd is expanding and we are looking for a Trainee Accountant and Intermediate Accountant

The ideal person will be one that has a desire for a long term career in Accounting, shows initiative and has a team/customer orientated attitude.

We offer both internal structured training on a regular basis on topical subjects as well as off-site training by professional training organisations as appropriate.

You will have exposure to (but not limited to) the following accounting areas

• BAS / IAS Preparation

• Superannuation matters

• Payroll matters

• Administration Assistance

• ATO liaison and correspondence

• Bookkeeping including bank reconciliation

• Preparation of Financial statements

• ITR preparation

Formal qualifications are ideal but not necessary.  No experience preferred for the trainee role.  2 years prior experience in a reputable accounting firm in a similar role is preferred for the Intermediate accountant role.

The positions are full time (office hours are 8.30-5pm (Monday to Friday), however if you are currently studying we are happy to discuss alternative arrangements.
